Pedigree

Susie is the only full sister to Spartan, sire of 2003 Federal Bundeschampionate Jumping Champion Stakkato. She came into the breeding program in 1997, the first foundation Hannoverian mare selected for Silverhorne’s jumper breeding program started back in the 1990’s. Her addition followed closely on the heels of a prior purchase, her son, Paganini. A second son, Puccini was also purchased for starting and resale. Both horses went onto high level competition as did yet another son by Kalypso, Kongo. By production record, the mare has delivered consistently athletic yet sensitive offspring that have succeeded regularly both in sales, resales and competition. 

Susie is the Granddam of Savannagh S and Susie Too, both named Elite Mare Eligible in 2006, who are from the first U.S. foal crop by Sir Caletto. Savannagh was named Champion Mare at her 2006 AHS Inspection. Another Susie daughter by Graf Top II, Good Girl, produced the 2006 Champion Colt, Spongebob S. 

Another Susie daughter, Pinta Marie by Prinz Gaylord, produced a lovely foal that was accepted into the Verden Elite Foal Auction at her mother’s side.Susie offspring exhibit consistenly balanced movement coupled with suspension and tremendous scope. Hallmarks of her offspring are big free shoulders, ground covering gaits and noteworthy round bascules.

Origins

In Germany and by their standards, Susie's dam, Gottilde,has been called one of the best show jumper-producing mares of all time. Her pedigree brings two, very famous jumper lines-Gotthard and Servus. The Gotthard line is certainly well established. The Servus blood is enjoying a special resurgence of interest in Germany thanks to Spartan. Spartan is the full brother of Susie and his licensed son, the mega-showjumper and breeding stallion, Stakkato, is already recognized as one of Germany’s most prepotent jumper lines and is given a jumping index of 157 with a limited number of tested daughters and stallion sons to date. Internationally, due to the high jumper index numbers being attributed to Stakkato, his offspring are in great demand with many of his progeny being licensed in Germany.
