Sienna is a beautiful Elite Spartan daughter (overall mare performance test score of 7.83 with 9s for jump). Spartan is best known for producing Stakkato (owned by the State Stud Celle), the Bundeschampionate for Jumpers in Germany in 1999 under Eva Marie Bittner. The annual breed value jumper index rates Spartan's show jumping index at 146 while his technique and scope are rated 144. The bottom side of the pedigree features Argentinus by Argentan, a stallion whose breed value index rates 133 for show jumping, 133 for technique and 138 for scope.
Silverhorne watched this mare at the Ratje-Niebuhr-Schau in Germany, which is held once every 6 years. This major Hanoverian breedshow featured over 250 mares of elite status only. Sienna excelled in the free jumping event--her obvious eye and technique in jumping was well noticed by one of the judges, Ludger Beerbaum. She was imported by Silverhorne and was shown lightly as a hunter before being bred. Her technique and scope are impeccable. In 2001 she produced an elegant colt, Drops of Jupiter, by a Donnerhall son, Domiro. The Pik Ramiro dam of Domiro produced a fantasticaly athletic youngster who can be seen on the Young Horse page of this website. Jupiter exhibits his dam’s enthusiasm for jumping as exhibited in freejumping trials.
